Our Story
Jaryll Avid Corporation is a music company structured to meet the complex challenges of the new music business of the 21st century. By acquiring, Scandalous Music in June of 2009, we join respected brand name, talented producers, music content, and successful business strategy of Scandalous Music with Jaryll Avid’s strong marketing abilities and management team, resulting in a company designed and tailored to give the ‘new music business’ the life line it badly needs. Having already starting one music production start-up and growing its revenue to a quarter million dollars, Jaryll Avid CEO Joe Caban, has taken on the mission of redefining the modern record label and music production company business model to serve the end user.
Jaryll Avid is forecast to triple its annual revenue by 2011. Before Jaryll Avid, Scandalous Music was exposed to an average of 300 music companies, A&R's, talent reps, music supervisors, and unsigned artists per month. From July 2009 through the end of September 2009, that number has increased to over 1,800, and by March of 2010 will reach 10,000 per month. Over the next three years, the company will grow its content and talent roster by aggressively recruiting three new producer/writer(s) per quarter while keeping to the quality over quantity standard the brand has become known for. The client base as well as the type and size of projects is expected to grow substantially.
